We present the »Sally Forth Cinema Audience Award«!
We are delighted that the Dortmund-based production company Sally Forth Cinema is sponsoring the festival’s Audience Award from this year onwards and has doubled the prize money to €2,000.
»To sally forth« means »to leave a safe place in a brave or confident way in order to face a new or challenging situation, or to do something difficult.« We think this is a wonderful message and are grateful for our fellow campaigners!
All films in the festival programme with a running time of 60 minutes or more that are no more than two years old are eligible for the Sally Forth Cinema Audience Award. This award is highly valued by our filmmakers, as it reveals what is currently resonating most with our audience. We can’t wait to see the result!
