Ute Völker

Accordionist Ute Völker specializes in free improvised music and explores the possibilities of her instrument within this framework. She performs concerts worldwide as a soloist, co-founder of the ensemble Partita Radicale, and as part of various other ensembles. She collaborates on interdisciplinary projects in the fields of visual arts and video, as well as with actors, writers, and performers. Ute Völker lives in Wuppertal and works as a music educator.
