Verwoben & Vergessen
Rebecca Pokua Korang
A long and still ongoing history of oppression and othering: Korang blends found footage from the Nazi propaganda film Germanin and other historical sources with contemporary news. Through a movement performance composed of fragmented sequences and cross-fades, the artist places her own body within these images, resisting the disturbing media representations of white German supremacy.
