Lia Sáile
Every word, every syllable, every nuance is discussed, interpreted, rejected and translated anew. Translating a poem into another language and thus another culture is undertaken here with an urgency as if it were an entire life that had to reassemble itself and make itself understandable. The earnestness of this attempt is both a celebration and a warning.

Lia Sáile
Lia Sáile (*1985), lebt und arbeitet in München und Köln. Sie hat Philosophie und Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaften an der University of Malta und der Universität Wien studiert, bevor sie ein Postgraduierten-Studium an der Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln begann. Ihre Arbeiten werden international im Kunstkontext und auf Filmfestivals gezeigt, u. a. bei Athens Photo Festival, Kasseler DokFest, Alternative Film/Video Festival Belgrad sowie Museum of Modern Art Malta, Pablo Picasso Museum Münster und whiteBOX München.
