A woman’s voice reflects upon social and urban developments: »The city stinks, it’s full of dead culture … Listen to plants … Let’s get rid of the ghetto.«

Ayo Akingbade
Ayo Akingbade lebt als Künstlerin und Filmemacherin in London. Sie hat das London College of Communication abgeschlossen und studiert derzeit an den Royal Academy Schools. 2018 erhielt sie die Sundance Ignite Fellowship (2018). Akingbade hat seitdem drei neue Filme realisiert. Dear Babylon (2019) ist gerade in der Postproduktion und wird ihre Trilogie zum sozialen Wohnungsbau vervollständigen.
