Two twin sisters perform Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart. The title’s allusion to the universe continues in this short film by Céline Trouillet both visually and symbolicaly. Visibly via the background fabric, in front of which the two girls perform their song. Symbolically in that Gemini is also a sign of the zodiac. There again, in contrast to the vastness of the universe, we perceive the inner emotional landscape of the girls and their intimate complicity.

Céline Trouillet
Born 1975 in Colmar, France, Céline Trouillet studied piano at the Academy of Music in Colmar and later art at École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. She exhibits regularly in galleries throughout the world and she and her films are often invited to festivals.
