Since her mother has been working so much, Romy has been going to her grandmother’s after school. She usually helps her in her hair salon. But recently, the 70-year-old has somehow been different. She’s forgetful, suddenly speaks Danish and keeps talking about her childhood in Denmark and about the sea. Romy does all she can to help her grandmother so that nobody notices. Until the day her grandmother Stine turns up in the salon in her nightgown. A visit to the doctor confirms she has Alzheimer’s and is sent to a nursing home. But is she really OK there?
