Shana Moulton’s video works and performances aim to combine the therapeutic promise of shopping, orthodox medicine and New Age philosophy with the lo-fi aesthetic of early computer games and popular TV entertainment. The Restless Legs Saga celebrates a boost to leg freedom gained via Swiss healing earth.

Shana Moulton
Shana Moulton, born in 1976, works in video, performance, and installation. She holds a BA from UC Berkeley in art and anthropology and an MFA from Carnegie Mellon University. Since 2007, her work has been shown internationally in group exhibitions and solo shows, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. It recalls the video aesthetics of the late 1970s and 80s and thematically interweaves consumerism with commercialised spirituality.
