Azar Saiyar

Azar Saiyar ist eine in Helsinki lebende Filmemacherin und bildende Künstlerin. Sie verwendet häufig Archivmaterial und spielt mit Bildern und Worten des kollektiven Gedächtnisses, um nach Wegen des Sehens, Erinnerns und Erzählens zu suchen. Ihre Filme werden auf internationalen Film- und Medienkunstfestivals, in Galerien, Ausstellungen und Museen gezeigt. Beim Festival Silhouette gewann ihr Film Monument of Distance 2019 den Prix du Jury Hybride.
