Pennyless Decadence
Julia Keller
!WowoW! is a London artists collective whose members squat in empty houses, where they live and work. Their residential concept demands many compromises from them, including moving house constantly. On the other hand they can creatively design the rooms they find together with like-minded artists. In Pennyless Decadence, Julia Keller portrays the lives of these squatters, at the same time questioning the wasted potential of empty buildings and the role and responsibility of real estate property owners.
