Daniela Muttis met Narcisa Hirsch at the end of the 1990s and has worked closely with her ever since. The work of the experimental film pioneer became an important touchstone for her own work. Her documentary Narcisa about her mentor offers a cross-section of Narcisa Hirsch’s artistic creations and an introduction into her complex work. The portrayal was shown and awarded at national and international film festivals.
Daniela Muttis, born 1965 in Mar del Plata, Argentina, initially studied Architecture before starting a second degree in Audiovisual Media at the University of Buenos Aires. She specialized in digital technologies and began to work for various production companies and also as an editor in the advertising industry, for film and TV. At the same time, she directed her first short films, which were shown at various national and international festivals.
