Nature and living creatures in all their diversity hold many wisdoms, which we tend to notice only when we look closely. Through childlike, painterly images, this animated music video celebrates the contrasting life speeds of the snail and the ostrich. Set to the rhythm and lyrics of the Colombian cumbia, it invites viewers to find their own pace and discover the hidden beauty of slowness and the everyday.

Katalin Egely
Katalin Egely graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest in 2013 with a degree in animation. Besides short films, opening credits and animated scenes for films, she focuses on music videos, which she finds especially inspiring since they allow her to create visual poetry based on associative images. She also works on animated documentaries.
