It is not a documentary about this death. It is a ballet of souls lost in the middle of the buildings that only the camera is able to escape, suddenly flying up in the air and filming from above.«
– Alice Zéniter

An apartment block »butte rouge« in the year 2002. Georges Mondésir is working on his car when suddenly a police vehicle shows ups, followed by an entire mobile task force. A short time later: Georges is dead. Friends and neighbours give their account of who Georges Mondésir was, how he came to die and what exactly they recall.
