Alexandra Nebel studierte an der Fachhochschule Hannover Bildende Kunst in der Filmklasse von Uwe Schrader und arbeitet seitdem als freischaffende Künstlerin, Regisseurin, Autorin und Fotografin. 2009 hat sie mit der Bildgestalterin Anna Raettig die Filmproduktion Flussaufwärts Film gegründet.
