1972 in Trondheim geboren, arbeitet seit 1998 als Dokumentarfilmer und Produzent. Für Nord, seinen ersten Spielfilm wurde er u.a. mit dem Critics‘ Choice Movie Award ausgezeichnet. Im selben Jahr wurde er als Best Emerging Filmmaker auf dem Tribeca Film Festival nominiert.
