Rosa Hannah Ziegler
Jamie and Leo have run away from the home. On their way through field and forest, the two teenagers have to come to term with their newly won freedom and their unaccustomed surroundings – as well as with their relationship to one another. Leo uses her mobilephone to keep a diary.

Rosa Hannah Ziegler
Rosa Hannah Ziegler studied direction at the Cologne Academy of Media Art and completed a film direction internship with Andreas Dresen among others. She received the Short Film Award in Gold for her documentary film Cigaretta mon Amour – Portrait meines Vaters in 2006. She made Escape in 2011 on the basis of a Cast&Cut scholarship from Nordmedia and the Hanover Culture Region Foundation.
