An early response to the ideas of Modernism, E.1027 is architecturally one of the most important private houses in Europe from the 20th century. Built on the Côte d’Azur in 1929 and overlooking the Mediterranean. Eileen Gray was a trained designer and an autodidact in architecture.
The film looks at the way history is told. And it is a declaration of love for the scandal-ridden house E.1027, which is still not open to the public and where filming is strictly prohibited.
