Elisabeth Wilms documented all the building phases in the construction of today’s Westphalia Hall. It was a modern replacement for the one destroyed during the war, the largest indoor arena in Dortmund. She partly filmed at dizzying heights on the roof structure. In 1952, the new Westphalia Hall was officially opened attended by President Theodor Heuss.
