Andenborstengürteltier
Angela Christlieb
The opening track of the eponymous album by Viennese underground combo Blueblut lasts just 41 seconds. Accompanied by minimalist percussive sounds, we hear voices speaking the strange word Andenborstengürteltier in different accents. In a whirlwind montage, Angela Christlieb uses alienation effects to bring the small Andean hairy armadillo of the title to the screen in a dazzling audiovisual trip.
