Tatiana Huezo
Lulú is now just a shadow of her former self since the day four years ago when her husband and 9-year-old son were dragged out of their car and abducted. Despite no trace of their being alive or their whereabouts, Lulú cannot give up hope of finding them. A film about the trauma and emotion of absence, and getting back to living life.
Tatiana Huezo
In El Salvador geboren, wuchs Huezo in Mexiko auf und studierte Film am Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) sowie an der Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Bekannt wurde sie bereits 2011 mit ihrem Debütfilm El lugar más pequeño, der auf über fünfzig internationalen Filmfestivals gezeigt wurde, viele Preise gewann und vom Variety Magazin ein »erhabenes dokumentarisches Debüt« genannt wurde. Tempestad ist ihr zweiter Langfilm. Aktuell lebt sie in Mexiko und unterrichtet Dokumentarfilmregie am CCC.
