The award-winning visual artist and film-maker has juried artist grants in Canada and the United States. They have lectured on race representation and gender-neutral pronouns on panels and at conferences since 2009. The first exhibition held at the famous Feminist Art Gallery in Toronto was dedicated to their work. In 2014 Lim published their first comic novel 100 Crushes.
