With over 70 episodes so far and live coverage during the eviction, Lützi News is a short format about life, activism in Lützerath and the struggle for climate justice. Lützi News has information about allies against the climate catastrophe combined with mobilization formats, reports about the jointly designed life on site and the daily work in a solidary community.

On festival Saturday at 12pm, we’ll join Kante and Annika for an hour to look at selected episodes of Lützi News and talk about their media work. As part of the section »desired! filmlust & queer« we are interested in the anti-racist, anti-capitalist and queer politics of the movement for climate justice. Why do these politics belong together and how have they been negotiated in Lützi News? How has Lützi News functioned as a counterpublic so far, and what’s next?
