Filmstill aus Die Unbeugsamen

It was in 1961 that female members of the CDU put so much pressure on Konrad Adenauer (the first chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany) that he finally appointed the first female cabinet member.

The programme is aimed especially at women with or without a migration background, but of course is also open to anyone who likes to watch quality films. The discussions that take place after the screenings – sometimes with guests – are often impassioned and lively but always based on mutual respect.

Following the film, we will enter into conversation with former mayor Marianne Wendzinski. Maresa Feldmann, Head of the Equal Opportunities Office of the City of Dortmund, will be the moderator.
