Call for Submissions!
The 43rd edition of the Internationales Frauen Film Fest Dortmund+Köln will take place from 22 to 26 April 2026 in Cologne.
The programme present a wide range of international films by women directors. In addition to our curated thematic Focus we accept film entries for the International Competition 1st and 2nd Feature Film, the Female Gaze – CineOne & sPOTTlight National Competition for Women Directors of Photography, the Panorama, the section desired! – film lust & queer and the Programme for Kids and Teens, which can now be submitted to the festival by rights holders.
After dispensing with submission fees for as long as possible, we will be charging submission fees from this year onwards due to the significant increase in the number of submissions. We have made every effort to keep the fees as fair and low as possible.

Panorama: 20 November 2025
