Chiles en Nogada is a traditional Mexican dish. Its colours are those of the national flag and of its history too: red, white and green. In 2009, Billy Roisz travelled through Mexico, accompanied by friends and music colleagues, and Chiles en Nogada is the film about that trip. Proceeding from the music, the director creates colours out of spaces and worlds out of colours. The opposite, the other, and its reflection are the film’s essence and what sets it apart.

Sie ist unter anderem Mitglied von NotTheSameColor (mit dieb13), AVVA (mit Toshimaru Nakamura), My Kingdom for a Lullaby (mit Michaela Grill/Christof Kurzmann/Martin Siewert) und silly (mit akoasma). 2009 gewann Billy Roisz den Förderpreis für Innovatives Kino der Republik Österreich.
