Sisters Eurídice and Guida have lots of dreams: Eurídice wants to become a concert pianist, Guida dreams of freedom and finding true love. But the constraints of conservative family life and her father’s traditional ideals leave no room for such longings. The sisters are separated. They draw strength from their profound love of each other and the inextinguishable hope of finding each other again one day.
