Shuruq Harb ist Filmemacherin, Autorin und Editorin. Sie war an der Initiierung von Künstlerinitiativen wie der Online Plattform ArtTerritories oder The River Has Two Banks beteiligt und war von 2014-2015 künstlerische Leiterin des Makan Art Space in Amman. Derzeit leitet sie dort bei der MMAG Foundation das Residenzprogramm Acts of Simulation für arabische Künstler*innen. In ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit interessiert sie sich für visuelle Kultur im Internet und die Erforschung subversiver Wege der Zirkulation von Bildern und Gütern.
