14 September: »Überschreibungen« Short film programme at FAVORITEN Festival in Dortmund

What disappears, what remains, what is overwritten – and what happens in between?

Three experimental documentary films and a audio play tell of the construction and deconstruction of the Palast der Republik in Berlin, a vanished theatre in the East German province, and of senior citizens synchronising male roles in US action films.

Together with filmmakers Kerstin Honeit and Susann Maria Hempel, we are exploring East Germany’s past and present with the FAVORITEN Festival in this film evening and bringing different perspectives into dialogue.
