We are screening the documentary Game Changers at World Views Dortmund, a film that is exceptional in every regard. For 30 years, director Aysun Bademsoy has been following Berlin’s first girls’ football team made up of second-generation Turkish migrants. In her fourth documentary, she turns her attention to the next generation. Born and raised in Germany, their daughters still ask themselves the question: Do we really feel accepted here?
