13 September: »Darshan Singh will in Leverkusen bleiben« at »ifs Begegnung Gender & Diversity«

After the summer break, we start the second half of ifs-Begegnung Gender & Diversity with the report Darshan Singh will in Leverkusen bleiben by Navina Sundaram.
The report was broadcast in 1974 on the ARD afternoon programme. It tells the migration story of two Indian families who were among the 30,000 Asian inhabitants expelled overnight from Uganda in 1972 by Idi Amin’s anti-colonial decree.
