With plenty of humour and allusions to current trends, Once Upon a Time in the Future: 2121 by Serpil Altin transports us to a world that has become uninhabitable due to the climate crisis. The film is not only the first Turkish science fiction film directed by a woman, but also Turkey’s first film to be produced in a sustainable manner.
