The next lectures by our LaDOC colleagues in Cologne aim to »make continuity visible«. Claudia Richarz, Helke Sander, Katja Baumgarten and Gisela Tuchtenhagen, directors and image creators who have already visited LaDOC with their films, will be our guests. All three have been focussing on social conditions and providing important impulses for decades.

We are delighted that our Audience Award-winning film from 2023, the documentary Helke Sander: Cleaning House by Claudia Richarz, will be screened once again in Cologne. Helke Sander, a central figure of the second German women’s movement, and Claudia Richarz will talk about their work with film and media scholar Borjana Gaković. On 13 November, Katja Baumgarten and Gisela Tuchtenhagen will be guests with the film Greta’s Birth.
