Everyday an unimaginable amount of food is thrown away because it is considered to be unfit for human consumption. This forms the raw material of this film, the contents of which came entirely from waste bins.

Niina Suominen
Niina Suominen wurde 1973 im finnischen Masku geboren, studierte Kunst an der Turku Arts Academy und ist außerdem ausgebildete Hufschmiedin, Tierpflegerin und Waldarbeiterin. Die Regisseurin und Medienkünstlerin verwendet für ihre Arbeiten traditionelle Animationstechniken. Sie ist fasziniert von organischen Materialien und Texturen der Natur. In ihrem Werk erkundet sie häufig Bewegungsabläufe, die sie zum Wesen von Alltagsgegenständen in Beziehung setzt. Ihre Filme wurden bei Festivals in Finnland und im Ausland gezeigt.
