The jury awarded a special mention to Sophie Krabbe for her cinematography in HALIMA \u2013 A GUIDE TO BEING STRONG.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Shoot \u2013 KHM &amp; IFFF Dortmund+Cologne Award for Emerging Female Artists of the Academy of Media Arts Cologne<\/em> goes to Lenia Friedrich for SO IST DAS LEBEN UND NICHT ANDERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>International Feature Film Competition 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hana Ju\u0161i\u0107 wins the <em>International Feature Film Award for Emerging Women Directors<\/em>\u00a0 for her second feature film<a href=\"https:\/\/frauenfilmfest.com\/en\/movie\/god-will-not-help\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> GOD WILL NOT HELP<\/a>, released in 2025. The film tells the story of the Chilean Teresa (Manuela Martelli), who, at the beginning of the 20th century, joins a remote shepherding family in the Croatian mountains.<\/p>\n<p>The jury consisted of Annouchka de Andrade, Bettina Brokemper and Athina Rachel Tsangari.<\/p>\n<p>From the jury\u2019s statement: <em>\u00bbWe were deeply impressed by the two female protagonists, that are no victims, but agents of their own destiny. With outstanding mise en scene and a cinematographic language of great presision and clarity, the film masterfully blends the genres of historical drama, suspense and phychological thriller, all through an unapologetic female gaze.\u00ab<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The jury also awarded a special mention to the feature film debut <a href=\"https:\/\/frauenfilmfest.com\/en\/movie\/nunkui\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NUNKUI<\/a> by Ver\u00e9nice Ben\u00edtez.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally Forth Cinema Audience Award<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Sally Forth Cinema Audience Award<\/em> goes to Jelena Ili\u0107 for <a href=\"https:\/\/frauenfilmfest.com\/en\/movie\/eine-krankheit-wie-ein-gedicht\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EINE KRANKHEIT WIE EIN GEDICHT<\/a>.
