The festival is looking for artistic perspectives that work with this new media technology in an intentional and reflective way. It is essential that technical progress is aligned with the gender-sensitive and critical form of image production that lies at the heart of the festival&#8217;s mission.<\/p>\n<p>Much has been said about the need for a feminist, anti-discriminatory handling of data-based image production. We would like to focus on the audiovisual outcome of these demands and discussions. What do feminist AI-generated films by cis women, intersex women, trans women, non-binary or genderqueer persons look like? Some artists use AI to construct feminist worlds \u2013 lost or speculative \u2013 that they would otherwise not be able to visualize. Others produce highly artistic works critical of AI.
