Sediqi speaks in a quiet, measured voice about what we would not hesitate to call acts of heroism: her empowering, often life-threatening work in Kabul, the obstacles she faced on the path to an independent professional life and her eventual departure on a dangerously overcrowded plane.<br \/>\nAhmed meets these extraordinary women \u2013 all now living in exile \u2013 as a colleague, as a journalist and simply a fan. The result is a film that weaves together the personal and the globally political. Intimate interviews, archive footage and enacted dream sequences give each protagonist her own creative space to speak and tell her story.
