Festival Programme
Internationales Frauen Film Fest Dortmund+Köln is Germany’s largest forum for women in the film industry and presents outstanding films by women spanning all genres and styles. For more than 40 years the festival has played an active role in ensuring that films by women directors are seen, appreciated and celebrated. We are particularly – but far from exclusively – committed to the causes of emancipation, feminism, the queer movement and the issue of redistribution of power (diversity).
The IFFF Dortmund+Köln takes place annually, alternating between Dortmund and Cologne, with a selection programme always being offered in the other city.
The fest archive and the film archive offer an overview of all films and events from previous editions.
Our mission statement gives an insight into the festival philosophy. Further information on the festival profile and the individual competitions can be found on our profile page.
The new festival programme goes live on our website on our website approximately one month before the festival start.
